Particular formulas can be envisaged depending on the type of dispute, or an accompaniment or package including, among other things, a fee for results.

We will only start work on payment of the deposit requested.

Fees are calculated according to the usual rules and, in particular, according to the nature of the case, the importance of the duties performed, the time spent, the degree of urgency and the result obtained.
The hourly rate will be set jointly with the customer, in compliance with the Ordre’s usual rules.

In the event of success or significant benefits for the customer, a fee for results may be charged in addition, in accordance with standard practice.

The fee for results will be reduced by half, without being able to be less than the fee established on the basis of the hourly rate, which constitutes a minimum, if, apart from any prior negotiation, payment is made after a formal notice has been sent or upon summons before the introductory hearing, as well as for the part of the claim granted by a court decision but which has not been recovered.

  • Fee statements and payments :

Payment of retainers covering disbursements, costs and fees in progress or to come is to be made on request. The client accepts that fees will be deducted from sums in transit to the lawyer’s third-party account.

Payment of disbursements, costs and fees is due on receipt of the final statement and on simple request.
Failing this, and on formal notice, the statement will be increased by the additional costs required for its recovery and late payment interest calculated at the legal rate.

Any dispute will be subject to an attempt at conciliation and, failing conciliation, will be settled in accordance with the internal rules of the French Bar Association of Brussels.

PERSPICERE’s civil liability is limited to the amount covered by the liability insurance policy it has taken out.
